hey, y feel guilty if you can get good money for something you've poured your on sweat and blood into? hope it all works out for you...

I can't bring myself to sell a vehicle if it has a fault with it. Knowing the past HG history on my TD5 I still don't 100% trust it to last indefinately. I'd rather have the hg go again and sell it as a non runner than have someone buy it and then have the hg go on them in say 6 months time and them not have the funds or knowledge to repair it.

I sold my old escort cabriolet to a mates son 8 years ago. I let him have it for half what I wanted for it in case it played up on him. He finally sold it last year for £100 more than he'd paid me for it. It went through every MOT with just silly things like bulbs need doing. It never broke down or needed anything more than a service. I sold him the missus's dads car dirt cheap too. it was the same story with that anorl.

not at the jeep at the moment but will get the pick up asap :)

JEEP? JEEP! i hate it when people call mine a jeep. suppose it is yours so you can call it what you want, but jeep?.... really?

right, update, head is in getting skimmed, looks like the gasket had rusted a bit on the furthest back cylinder between it and the coolant holes, and somehow it appears the backleft hand side of the head has lifted a bit allowing coolant to **** out all over the place... hopefully ill get it back together tomorrow evening and all will be running after that :)
