Well, time has come for a new chassis for my 110 pick up (Hi cap) and as it's a hard working tool, want to keep down time to a minimum. I am looking for any advice on removing the cab as a complete assembly -- obviously having disconnected all the external links !

Easy way would be to put a couple of beams under the roof and lift, but I am concerned it may not have sufficient fastenings, or the next panels down may not have the strength required to take the whole cab weight. Naturally, I don't want to distort anything. (cab and bulkhead appear rot free)

Would really welcome any advice if you have satisfactorily lifted and refitted a complete cab. We have ample lifting kit and can weld if required.

Mike.

Somethin like this ?
its a 90 but shouldnt be that different.
chain shackled arround bulkhead to chassis brackets in engin bay,
scaffold pole under rear tub, routed trough wheel arch, lifting strap from hoist to pole.

Theres not that much weight in the body.
