Hi guys, I took out the wiper motor on my old 1998 Disco TDI (300) as it was making one hell of a racket when switched on (sort of ginding noise?). Took out the motor, cleaned and greased the spindle and "Hey Presto" it seem to be slightly more quieter. Problem is putting on the wiper blade, I didn't make any markings before taking it off:doh: and I see there are some groves on the spindle to hook onto the wiper arm but the arm center bit looks quite worn. I suppose the motor automaticaly goes into the start position which I think, is the first line of the rear window heating (the bottom line). Have anyone of you experienced this and shed any light at all?

Cheers
Al

usual method is (without the arm on) cycle the motor a couple of times so that it self parks. Line up the blade with the dirt mark at the bottom of the screen and push arm over spindle and tighten.
