Rear wiper motor problem

Hi Guys, need some help here as totally baffled. Went to use rear wiper, no joy, checked fuse all ok, stripped door and pulled out, greased and made sure it wasnt seized, tested on a battery and it works, link it up to motor wires and then test with a homemade bulb kit it lights up......put the other connector in which I assume is the park gizmo.....it starts, parks then wont work again....ARGH so annoying, anyway in the end I give up and stuck it back in and it works but now it wont park in right place. Any ideas or common faults would be appreciated as I dont want to pay for a new motor if this can be fixed.

did you have the drivers door open ?????

Yes, thats probably why it wouldnt work at 1st but any ideas why its not parking in the correct position?

Do you mean the wiper blade parks in the wrong place? If yes, why not take the blade off and put it back in the correct place?

DURRRRR!!!!! Yeah that would solve it wouldn't it, thanks mate, i'll do that now
