Reading fault codes.

Is it possible to read fault codes with some nifty trick on an '03 TD4 or do you need a special bit of kit? If so what is the LZ favourite?

Depends which ecu you want to read from and how complete the info needs to be.To get full coverage you need Testbook,or Autologic - OBD readers will only pull powertrain codes and not always be 100%.(They often give codes for the wrong tune level or for kit that is not fitted to that car etc) I use Testbook which was the LR dealer tool - its reliable and accurate.Not cheap tho....
