Just had a 'clunk' diagnosed on the wifes Td4. It was when pulling off, or
cornering on full-lock at low speed. It has been back to the dealer 4 times
as it is getting worse. Trns out that it is nothing to do with the steering,
it is an engine mounting!!!! Apparently the technicians are concerned with
the way it threaded in the chassis. I am waiting for a call to tell me when
they have 4 DAYS free in the body shop to repair it!!!! I can only asume
from this that it is an 'engine out' job. Thanks goes to the man that
invented the 3-year warranty!

Stew.
