Range Rover Classic ('94) Load Area Side Window Seals

Hi Guys
Looking for some info / guidance.
Am restoring my red RR Classic and the above window seals have perished.
Rimmer Bros have quoted me 250 pounds + Vat for a pair (left and right side)
but, if possible, I'd like to avoid spending that amount, on this one item.
I read in another thread, going back a few years, where someone suggested using Woolies
of Peterborough, who supply lengths of window seals (channels?) which you then have to
heat and cut to fit.
My question is. Do you know what item is best to use for this purpose, from Woolies and what
diameter etc (if there's a choice) ? (I have a Woolies catalogue to hand)
Any other reasonably priced fixes would be considered. I'm restoring to sell, so the fit and finish
has to be good.
Any and all help from those in the know, most welcome.

Not sure what they were charging but think Atkinson Bespoke Engineering we’re selling them on there stand at the NEC restoration show last w/e, might be worth a call
 
Can't be sure but I think they were who I contacted 2 years ago when I was prepping Buttercup for her re-spray, think £200 was mentioned, ended up quite a short phone call.
 
Should have said, I ended up buying a bottle of "Gummi Fledge" or something like that as rubber treatment/rejouvenator (sp) quite pleased with the results, makes the rubber flexible again and stops sun damage. -------- (so far anyway)
 
Also following as mine are pretty cracked. Looks like it will be a repair job with some black sealer at the mo. Will be interested to see how the one above with the chrome strip fits
 
The choice seems to be between bespoke parts including the Land Rover kit for both sides at £200 + Vat via Rimmer Bros (may be £250+Vat,can't recall)
or some kind of self apply substance that you can cut and shape to fit. We're going the latter route as its cheap as chips, but seems to work well if done properly.
Hadn't noticed, but that's what a previous owner had done to the RR. Seems to have had no adverse effects on surrounding areas.
I did Google Atkinson Engineering, out of curiosity, but all I got was a banner saying 'new website under construction'. But I did find this. Might help someone.

Need a bit more info, if anyone will indulge me ;)
The black plastic type strips that sit along the outer lower edge of the door window apertures.
There's one on each door. Any idea what the term is for these? Need to order all four, as there's
been some corrosion underneath each, that also needs to be treated.

I think you mean the waist seals?

If so they are obsolete & unless you can find somewhere with NOS then you are going to be looking for good used examples.
Had a right game finding a decent driver's door one for mine.
