Hi Guys
Getting towards the end of restoring my red Classic.
Someone who had the vehicle before me, removed the inner fabric surface of the sunroof that matches the colour of the headliner.
Does anyone know where I can get hold of a piece of the right fabric or close, in the right shade of grey?
Can't find a supplier anywhere.
The last company I spoke to, wanted to sell me three and a half meters of fabric! The rest of the roof liner is fine, so there's no good reason to start messing about with it.
Thanks for any suggestions. If I can't find a ready cut piece, I'll just have to bite the bullet and go to a vehicle trimmer.
Cheers
Mike

Hi Mark
Thanks for the Martrim link. But, that is the company who expect me to buy 3.5 meters!
If the roof lining was in any way marginal, I'd probably just bend over. But its unmarked
so there's no benefit to replacing it whatsoever.
I've been looking for a supplier for weeks, so yep, done eBay.
I'll figure it out. Thanks for taking the time to respond Mark.

I've also used Martrim - but for the full quantity to do my headliner.
I'm inclined to think their issue is the possibility that whatever they supply won't be a good match if they sell you just I metre as they list by the metre on their site. Much the same as trying to buy car paint by mail order to match what's already on the car.
If so, any mileage in sending them a piece for an 'as near as' match?

Woolies trim might also be worth a look: https://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/

Your welcome, hmm woolies, I'm going to look at them myself:D thanks @Ratae ;)

Thanks for all of your comments guys.
Matrim are certainly a friendly bunch. I have a few restorations going on, needing a re-trim
so if I can find one supplier for all, it'd be handy.
Received samples from Matrim today and they look close, so I ought to be sorted, fingers
crossed. Close enough is good enough in this case. You rarely look at the inside sliding
cover panel of the sunroof, so, so far as I'm concerned, it doesn't need to be an exact match.
