Hi All

Back again. Can anyone tell me where I can buy the LRT-12-119 tool for the injector pump removal.

Alternatively if anyone already has one please can you give me the dimensions.

Cheers all.

hello have anybody there with a mearsument LRT-12-119 for removing the pump going to make one myself in side and outside diameter please

thank

With the greatest respect to both of you....

Unless you really really REALLY know what you are doing with the FIP it is best left to Diesel Specialists as the position and timing is highly critical and the tolereances are in the 0.001" ranges.....

hi thanks : i think that not a problem ; only if i can get hold a cheap tools , someone hier have to do this job sooner or later ,, so can some help with this tools diameter ?

long shot this one ....but most vauxhall dealers will have these tools sitting around on a shelf doing bugger all ......i know we have at work ...anyway try asking them to borrow them or sell you them .....worth a try not seen a omega with a x25dt in years ....

if they can find it and supplier I will help with getting it for them, and sent:D

That dam nice of you.... tell you what i found it already, you spend £120 and you make it, I dont want one, and i dont want to **** my engine up either ^^^ look at the tolereances are in the 0.001" are you ****ing crazy in the head m8 or what????

said if you could find one in the states cheaper, I would help you get it to you. postal for small package is about 10quid for something that size

As mentioned previously by myself and Dopey....the tolerances are very tight and even the tiniest fraction out and you will have terrible problems....

As attached....fore warned is fore armed....

Just to make you aware this is no easy task as the others have said I'm a trained technician and I found it difficult

You need more than just the puller tool

You need:
Crank lock pin (by the way there is three holes very close together near tdc get the wrong one say hi to valve kissing I ain't joking)

Camshaft locking plate (I would also adjust cam to take up the chain slack approx 4mm on one side to rotate and place tool on cam correctly)

Feeler gauge (see above)

Pump puller

Dti and correct locking kit to center in the correct position also needs a long dti pimp to be able to preload the pump

My advice is don't do it unless your pockets are deep enuf to buy a full engine rebuild after you smack your valve

I got a lad's dad to time it has he had done loads before on different diesel engines he been in the game 30yrs plus

All I can say is good luck
