Hi guys, this is a bit of a daft one but my OCD is killing me 😂

The engine cover on the TD6 engine has a grommet which a pin on the cover clips into but I can't seem to buy one any more. Every where I try they come back as discontinued/unavailable.

Mine has gone missing before my ownership and I want one. Does anyone have one they could measure the internal diameter where the pin goes in please just so I can order/make something that'll work please?

Wasn't sure if it was a basic box section grommet or if it had a profile to it like the BMW stuff for their covers.

The JGS link is where the screws go through so not sure if it'll be the same.

The part number is LYA000030 but everyone I've contacted says needs to be ordered then comes back not available.

Think I'll just take some measurements of the pin and bracket and try a few BMW parts.

Yes it's a question of knowing where to look. I wanted a mudflap clip for my old 5 series & couldn't find anything after hours trawling the web .. turned out the the same component was used on Jaguars built in the late 'nineties so I bought a couple, expensive for just a metal clip but exactly what I wanted ;)
