Hello,

I've seen these quick fit fuel line connectors before but apparently there are some 'red tipped' connectors available which are fuel safe, and ideal for joining fuel hoses together. Here is a picture of the kind of thing that I am talking about:

If any body knows of a website that stocks these things, with the red tips, please let me know. I would like to give them a shot in my fuel system.

Thanks

Cheers Daft,

I've been having a good look around for an hour or so now and still no look :( If you watch this video [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqUmNbNAgXA"]YouTube - Land Rover Conversion PART 2 200tdi retrofit into discovery inc 100amp alternator upgrade[/nomedia] you can see the exact thing that I'm after at 3:10

They look very similar to beer line connectors....just a thought ;)

True that :D there are supposedly some that are designed to take fuel though. Not quite sure on the validity of some of the things that I've read on the web. I have a couple of blue tipped joiners on my catch tank level pipe and they don't seem to leak. Whether or not they would let air into my diesel (on the vacuum side of the lift pump) though I do not know.

the differance is that the fuel will eat the normal rubber seals, hydraulic ones are suitable for fuel
