LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 200 & 300TDI FRONT PROPSHAFT "HEAVY DUTY" NEW - FRC8386 HD | eBay
the gwyn lewis ones have a longer sliding section to them which is good if you have a big lift or long travel suspension
defo w/a I spoke to them and it uses the larger ujs not normal size onesThe link you posted WLM, im not sure that is a HD wide angle. i googled frc8386 HD and thats a standard prop for a def/disco and rrc.
I only have a 2" lift john, i dont think i need anything longer than normal.![]()
i ve got 2 inch lift on the old 90 with standard props, i replaced them both as the splines had worn and where quite lose with standard props from paddocks, no problem for 18 months other than a uj.
ive bought hd wide angle props for the new 90 ive bought and found the front one ive taken off is a wide angle, one of the ujs has gone whats it worth to you? its the same as the paddock ones
top cat your prop is from a 200tdi, and i thing bgb has a td5 so props are different length
Looks good would only need a uj £60 sounds fairWhats the condition like? other than the one UJ?
£60??? :whoosh:
Its off the 300tdi John dont know if they are the same??top cat your prop is from a 200tdi, and i thing bgb has a td5 so props are different length
If a td5 is the same as a 300 itll fit but i aint sureHes not lyin.i as a tee dee 5.

Early RRC has Wide angle joints compared to the puny ones you get on later motors, Plus any Original propshaft has more that the crap £30 cheap propshafts you get from paddocks/craddocks or any suppier. Better to replace a uj on an original prop than replace propshaft as the new replacement is likley to be just good enough for std motor whereas original and indeed old RRC ones were more than up to the job

If a td5 is the same as a 300 itll fit but i aint sure
