Just thought I would make a thread of my project for all those who are interested.
I've done a bit of work already which I will showcase with photos. I will continue updating this thread as I go.
This is how the truck looked when I bought it.

Looking forward to seeing the work progress. Thanks for sharing.

I think a few of us too would get a shock if we started removing panels and bodywork from our landies...

Nice work , I guess you have a big to do list! Is that a MIG welder yore using

Yep, it sure is and I'm using 75/25 gas mix. I really rate my welder (parweld). This is the 5th time I've ever welded anything believe it or not. (after watching many videos and receiving a few tips from friends)

Thanks for the kind words fella's. Hopefully will get that bulkhead corner finished this week.
Many more photos to come!

Looking at your work I thought "now there's a professional welder at work, he knows what he is doing" well done, you are doing a great job on your landy, many people would not have attempted a job that big.
Which model parweld do you have, I was looking at the XTE 201 MIG kit.

Thats inflated my head a bit hah!
I think a big part of being able to do a decent weld is down to your machine. My buddy bought cheap machines for years and always struggled. It's having the variable speed and heat that you absolutely can't do without so if your buying any mig welder always get one that has those features.
I also watched a few YouTube videos the channel was called "chucky2000" or something and he goes through everything step by step.

Here's a couple pictures of my machine. I got it second hand (nearly new) and saved myself a few quid.
