Problem with abs fault light

just got a freelander on a 03 plate and some times on setting of the abs and the hill desent amber warning lights stay on if I leave car for a short period and try again its ok this has only happend when my wife has had a drive she is new to automatics are we doing anything wrong on startup .

Try the throttle cable. This can cause the sensor to come on
