My Girlfriend started bleeding badly and she was admitted to hospital as she is peeing Red wine colored urine.

The baby is fine, but they have found a lump in her bladder which I wondered if it was like a polip and hopefully nothing more or a bladder infection.

Bladder Infection During Pregnancy

Had a look round google but not found much- anyone in this area of expertise?

No idea mate but remember vividly what must be going through your mind. She's in the best place anyway. Deep breaths:)

I'm okay, she feels well in herself and is stuck on the pre splitting ward- she practically begged the nurse to be discharged.

:D I thought we looked like shriek and princess Fiona- but I think that we can safely say that the gene pool sinks far lower.:p Mr and Mrs Chav were there too

Bugger.....hope your all ok. Hang in there mate, I hate it when they won't tell you anything as if it'll stop you worrying
My ex is a midwife but tis a bit late to phone her now......I'll find out what I can tomorrow but hopefully you'll have a clearer picture by then

Cheers, half of it is they have said nothing- so chance to Google.

I'm being pragmatic about it, at least if she has an issue they are on site and if she is in then they will be keener to get on and find out what gives.

Been through this 3 times wi my mrs pregnancy does wierd things to their bodies, shes in the best place. All my best to you and your mrs.

:) when the bump starts to kick for me that is when it brings it all home as a new life in the making.
I'm quite pleased that she is feeling bored rather than worried-hopefully more news tomorrow, frustrating that they won't say any more yet.

good luck, hope all goes well!

mine is now 2 months old... my mrs was lucky in her pregnancy, no sickness, no being grumpy.. nothing at all...

then the labour went on for 26h..... she wasnt happy, and i wasnt happy, actually it got to the point the medical staff asked my mrs about me as they were afraid i was gonna kick off...

Women have more intuition than they often realise esp when they are pregnant and even if they are unaware of it they often express it emotionally......

Tis why us blokes say they are so irrational.......but we also know that they are so often right

Sounds promising

yep.. quite a long time!

contractions started at 11.50PM on the 1st Sept, baby was born at 2.33AM on the 3rd Sept... my mrs birthday is on the 2nd Sept... so she spent her whole birthday in pain!

with our third wed been in for several hours... waters had broken... but nothing seemed to be happening ... the nurse comes back and anounced we wernt in labour at all the pain was a bladder infection and we should go home...10 miles away.... i just looked looked at her and said wed wait for a bit..... twas only half hour till the shift changed... im convinced the cow just wanted a tidy waiting room to hand over.
