Power steering freelander v6

i have an x reg v6 and noticed the power steering fluid is low. I have lost the manual and wondered what steering fluid i need to buy. I'm guessing it goes in the tank with the steering wheel on top.
I dont have a main dealer near me so a generic fluid (halfords etc) would be great (and cheaper).
