Just bought a 89 Defender County 110. Drives great except when you are in fourth gear and take your foot of the excelarator it pops out of gear. If you drive with your hand on the gear stick it doesnt pop out. Can anyone help me with what the problem is. P.s. First time Landy owner.

its not worn selector,its either a sign that front mainshaft brg that supports input and mainshaft as 4th gear is the selector hub sliding over input shaft dog teeth or worn selector hub
