Wondered if anyone could shed some light on this one.
I currently run a disco 2005,TDV6, Manual,103,000miles which was fully serviced 10k ago.
I have noticed in the last three months the fuel consumption has dropped and recently the engine lacks power and will not rev up,it does clear eventually.Could it be due a new fuel filter? No lights on dash coming up ,just feels like fuel starvation.Or am i missing something.
Under all the plastic there doesnt seem to be a water trap ,are there any other filters in the fuel line other than the silly positioned main filter hidden in the wheel arch!!!!!!:doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh:

fuel flow issues or faulty maf can cause issue you describe

Or a stuck EGR valve(s).

Open the bonnet with the engine running, then switch off the enigine, and listen down both sides of the engine for a series of click-clicks. That's the valves self cleaning. If one or both are not working, then that could be the problem.

Probably best in the long run to fit blanking plates, like the Alive Tuning ones.

It could still be fuel, but the EGR is most common failure relating to this sort of thing. IIRC, the Fuel filter should be changed around 50k miles, so you should have had the second one put on last service. You are also due the cam belt change at 100k.

Bell Auto Services in York do a cracking EBR blanking kit for £50 with a full how to on their website, well worth doing.

You also mention having a service not too long ago at 93k, now on 103k and very near the biggy of Belt change @ 105k or seven years old, got to do mine next year
