Im about to commit suicide over this car !!! As some will know im TRYING to rectify my EAS fault with NO luck at all !!! So far its had four new height sensors (as two were broke) then a new compressor (reservoir pressure static when filling) fault then two new front struts with bags (one burst during calibration). After ALL this we tried to calibrate but the front end was sat way to high. Storey wilsons video says to lower suspension type in a figure (when you are taking wheel bottom to arch measurements) that is HIGHER than it is to LOWER suspension BUT we are unable to do this as the measurement on the front was 860mm which is 20mm higher than the computer allows to input (840mm). SO, as the video suggests to HIGHER your vehicle during calibration type in a LOWER figure than the actual measurement this will higher it so as we can only type in 840mm its raising the front end bloody higher !!! THEN we deflated the whole system to start again an it went to something like, (slightly higher on front as rangies usually are) an we decided to call it a day BUT on the way home just now the "offroad max 30mph" warning came on EVEN THOUGH IT WAS READING STANDARD RIDE HEIGHT on controls THEN BOOM there she was again... THE FU***NG "air susp inactive" warning light all level control lights are off.... nothing !!! Before changing my bags a fault was stored saying "articulation validity fault" ???? Searching google everyone says its summat to do with a height sensor ???? ITS HAD FOUR BRAND NEW GENUINE ONES !!!! I swear to god im at the end of my tether with this FU***NG car, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME IM NOW DESPERATE !!!!!!!!

THANK YOU
PS SORRY FOR MY ******* JUST REALLY UPSET AN ANGRY

PS: just noticed that the back end is really low especially OSR ??????????????????

Wheel centre to arch

Something up with your calibration procedure that's all

Sounds like its really messed up and confused now !

Just to confirm its measured from the outer lip of the alloy to the start of the wheel arch

Where are you located mate ?

HIPPO yeah its doncaster an YES i measured ALLOY bottom to wheel arch ? If calibration is messed up how do i sort it mate ? As i wrote i cant lower it through calibration as max input is 840mm an its 860mm so wen i put 840mm in it goes higher ? Also why would this lock suspension out throw the air susp inactive message up an make rear end be really low ??

Just think its gotten corrupt somehow

So when you initialise the calibration process and the car rises are you saying it rises further that the max aloud measurement ??

As the calibration height is a preset height and it shouldn't change, even if your calibration has got fcuked up

When starting the calibration it should erase the current corrupt heights and reset to factory calibration height

Have you checked the cables in the connectors to the height sensors ?

As mine had got damaged / broken which caused dodgy EAS movements and so needed new wiring connectors

TBH its not asking for wheel rim size wen calibrating ? Ive got 22s on ? Wen we did it the other day (before bag burst) calibration was fine it only messed up wen bag deflated. Yes the ACTUAL measurements are HIGHER than allowed input by 20mm. Its weird cos wen i drove home it thought it was in offroad mode but level indicator read standard height ???

You should have a selectable box on the screen next to the other boxes where you type in your measurements

It lets you select either 19's , 20's or 22" rims

Otherwise it will default to the standard 19" size

Sounds like your using an old version of the all comms software ?

right underneath the height measurement boxes it has a drop down box.

i think you need to update your all comms software as the earlier version didn't have the feature so you would manually have to subtract the offset in wheel sizes accordingly

You say it has 4 new height sensors. Just pointing they obvious, they are fitted correctly? I spent ages chasing an air suspension fault on a Cayenne once and whoever had fitted the densors had managed to get the arms 180 degrees out on the sensors. This was creating similair problem.

we will have a look at that mate if its not in a drop down box how do i manually subtract the offset ??? Surely if the instruction reads to enter wheel size there must be somewhere to do it ??? Also is it possible that poor calibration could cause system to fail again ???

study the video you posted.

storey mentions how to adjust the off set manually.

ps yes we put them on the same way old ones came off
