Petrol pump location? BMW 2.8

Before I start pulling my hair out (I really don't have any to spare), can anybody help me locate the petrol pump on a South African spec 2.8l BMW 110.

I know on the donor vehicles it was near the rear axle, so it's not got to be at the front end, and it's electric rather than mechanical, so that means it could be almost anywhere on a Landy.

Anybody encountered these?

Try tracing the fuel lines, It will be along there somewhere

In tank?

I think they use range rover/disco v8 tanks with the in-tank pump. Not 100% though.

Thats what I think too...

Thanks for the help. I'll have to start near the tank and look for wires (other than fuel level sender unit), and work from there I guess.
