hiya

on some passenger seats there is a relay , be very careful if u use a multimeter on the seat connections because if the airbag wire

the seat switch is secured on the back of the cover by some small screws either end of the panel , then it slides up and off , if ur messing around with the seat ur better off disconnecting the battery and then waiting 30 x minutes , then u can disconnect the connector block

keep away from the yellow wire as that’s ur airbag light

Pass seat , check fuse 29 , which should be a 30 x amp behind ur glovebox

fuse 46 is ur drivers

if you’ve got heated seats the element may have gone and popped the fuse , or the relay under the seat , but relay isn’t always there, depends on model

also are they memory seats plse

hope that helps

Here’s also the wiring diagrams

Thanks everyone.
Mines a 2008 2.7hse its got heated seats and the heater works for passenger seat aswel as driver seat but passenger side wont move at all with the switches so i just put it down to the switch had given up so I have bought a switch for it just need to get it fitted. Im not a mechanic by any means aslong as its straight forward i should be fine although i got habbit of breaking plastics as i tend to lose patience if they are stiff :)

Also driver seat is memory but passenger side have never worked so not sure on that one. Only owned it for a month

glad it was of use, u should have a relay underneath the passenger seat , use a multimeter to see if that’s ok , along with the fuse behind the glove box , can also test to ensure u have power to the motors as it could be a bad connection, multimeter will of course help u identify if u have power or not

the seat switches will just be plug and play

also as urs is a 2008 plse make sure the belts and oil pump has been done

hope that helps

I have heaed horror stories with the pumps so i got the upgraded one i believe so hopefully be ok.
I will get garage to sort it i think as i dont want to end up causing damage.

great stuff getting them done as indeed the old oil pumps do break

if ur not mechanically minded at least the garage can test everything on the passenger seat for u and get it working

If u would be so kind please let us know what they find , thks
