Morning,

so, new batterie, all nice working apart from need to exchange an abs lead which i have and get done this week, no matter how. lol
and a dreaded oil leak i need to find. lol

heather?
i assume the problem is on the flaps? but to explain ..

i found this Manuel testing page on here, how to find out whats wrong because of the lack to a nanocom.
hawkeye dosnt do hevaxc system.

all the settings to seats up and down etc works.
the driver side is blowing hot and cold as it should.
the passenger side is only blowing hot. lol

we tried to have a look yesterday and figured out unless you dismantle the whole bloody dash you cant see anything or go anywhere to find out whats going on.
so we didnt do it.

am i right to assume the flaps movement powered by the blend motor is buggered?
and am i right there is a blend motor for either side behind the dash ? or is this small thing i found on pictures for both sides?

as we couldnt find the flap moving leaver not really sure if thats the actual problem but you cant hear anything to adjust cold and hot passenger side but a slight noise for the driverside. which works hot and cold.

and yes that book is on on the hevac because there is no gas in the aircon and until the heather hopefully get sorted i am not paying for aircon refill.

There is a blend motor either side, they can be got at without removing the dash. On the passenger side it's common to cut the plastic duct that obscures the blend motor assembly, the piece of duct can then be wriggled out. When refitted the joint is fixed with duct tape.
The Cheque Book symbol will be due to the blend motor not the lack of gas, no gas does not produce the Cheque Book symbol on mine.

Cool thanks.
I think I be able to wiggle that thing out without cutting it. Lol
I dont.like cutting. Lol
And is the centre console which can be loosened.for doing it as I figured out.
As.i have to replace the broken flaps on the rear of the console due to the last owners kits are destroying little ****s. Lol

Thanks.
I may just get one and replace it. Saves taking it out try to fix and then do it again in 2 weeks. Lol.

I doubt you can get to the fixing screws on the blend motor unit without cutting the duct, but if you can, well done.

Order one and when is here I try. Lol.
I got a lot stupid tools.to help by stuff.

Even a bloody screwdriver able to attach them bending linkages to go from the back on some stuff.

But I see what happen when I do it.

Here’s a pic of the (blower motor that has no relevance ) passenger side one behind the glovebox for you to see. Drivers side is easier to get to but the duct is bit more of a nuisance.
Few screwdrivers and patience you’ll be okay put the ride on high save so much bending :)

That's the blower. Lol. Not the blend.motor for the flaps. Lol

I allready exchanged blowers.

The motors.work. is just not switching between hot and cold on the passenger side.

Yeah. Tried to fix the blowers and as soon I put them back in didnt work again.
So replaced a couple things.
Getting there slowly.

Is a great drive. Suspension is a bit rigid but otherwise nice.
Powerfull as a 2.5 dei .

All it needs is this blend motor replacing now. A new sidelight bulb holder as one was taped with plaster and dosnt work. Lol

Some.more t cut and.polish session .
Evtl some.nice tyres.
A new seat base driverside ir full interior. Depending on price.

And finding this little oil leak. Lol.

But I knew I didnt buy a new car. Expected some stuff to replace.
Still cheaper as my pajero was.

My plan.is replacing some stuff because of looks like dash bulbs for led bulbs and other little stuff.
The rooflining and sideholmes getting covered with new fabrics too.
Maybe a new carpet just over the old one. ( instead replacing to give more dampening )

Carpets are usually damp enuff :p:D
They are but I want a new one in and ripping the old one out is a lot work.
So the plan is get a cheap thin one and just fit it over the original one.
Especially I am.doing the interior sky dark red.
So, carpet to fit. Lol.

You will have to remove 2 carpets then and the foam underlay when your aircon matrix goes tits up or the screen;pollen filters ;sun roof drains and many other places for these to leak from appear

I think I done all the usual leak problems and sorted them before I have damp frets.
Cleaned all up replaced some stuff.
Sunroof. Pollenfilters incl new rubbers etc pp.

Those sets are vary useful i have three i think two in the van and one set at home, they are always being used for confined spaces.
