This year I am taking a few mates down to Bournemouth, using my dads 12 seat Defender. After being on the phone for half an hour to the DVLA, I find out that I can only drive it if I am 21 or over, but if I remove three seats to make it a 9 seater I will be fine. Not a problem, I will take one of the 3 seater bench seats out. Pain in the arse though as I will be 6 months too young to have ALL the seats!

You think thats bad.. Ive just called Hastings to cancel the cover on me bmw cos i cant afford to run the landie and that (the landie won :) )... They want a £45 cancellation fee, I asked to speak to a manager and was fobbed off left right and center.. he told me he'd put me down for a call back but couldnt guarantee it would be this week or next wtf    never agian

All insurance problems are because of some ****ing greasy **** in a baseball cap whose gotten through five Novas in a year.

Insurance companies are terrible, if you want to cancel your policy after more than a couple of weeks they won't refund you F.A.
I enquired about cancelling my policy last year about three weeks after renewing and I would have only got about a quarter of the money back!

Let's face it, they're robbers the lot of em. I had 2 years no claims, but because I've been in a company van for 2 years I've no certificate to back it up. When I explained this my current insurer for the 'landy my premium almost doubled!!! Of course, the 3 years no claims for the bike doesn't count. Oh, and another thing. How come if you get points for speeding, they stay on your license for 3 years then drop off, but you still have to declare them to your insurer for 5 years?? That can't be right. Write to your local MP, let's get this sorted!! ( what do you mean, MP's are robbers too?? )
