i am really peeved at the moment,ordered a set of springs for the old gal a fortnight ago fitted them and she sat low on the rear,all fitted correctly and with the preload set as per the repair operation manual,after covering about 100 miles they are allready sitting lower than the preload phoned them up they said we will sort it out for me and asked for photos,sent there photos and they say the shackles are about right.phoned them again and told them there having a laugh they said we.ll phone you back so all week this has been going on,phoning them up and them saying we will phone you back haha,phoned them this morning after having various friends and a contact at craddocks look at them all saying the same thing ,that basically they are **** parts,after telling them this they have said send them back if you dont like them and i said what about sending some out to replace the **** allready fitted .to easy that,no we have to inspect them then wait for the suppliers to confirm they are crap so that leaves me with a motor on axle stands for however long that takes,your views would be appreciated,and is it worth getting trading standards involved?
 
simple - go somewhere else - and tell Paddocks that their customer services stinks and yo will want full credit including transport costs. Then make sure yu send a letter to that effect to the Sales director.

i think we are talking legal precedings here only bought these to replace some parabolics i bought from frog island and they where crap as well ,guess who supplied those lol,ordered these on line at no time was it stated that they were britpart ****e
 
i,ve done the search,very enlightning,the springs are,nt to long just not tempered correctly,way to soft and hardly any camber to them,although when fitted they looked ok until i moved it onto the road.i think lots of phone calls down to craven arms,one for them to collect the ****e parabolics and two to see what the f**k they are gonna do about this,two sets of there quality items lol not one any f**king good
only 50 miles to there factory might even be worth a ride down and wrap them round the back of someones head see if that gets a response from them

i've seen that happen on another (totally none landrover related) forum and it was the dude from the company in question that did all the abusing/slagging, made him self look like a complete dickhead! so after that everyone knew that he sold crap stuff and didnt give a crap what his customers thought of said crap stuff! :rolleyes:
 
best i ban mesen before it starts. but aye it would probably prove a better solution than bleatin about them on here. and if enough folk get their complaints in who nose we might even manage to get some compo fer them.
 
i take it then there are alot of unhappy peaple about then,especially when all they get from suppliers is ..oh we will see what we can do and get back to you and after waiting for phone caolls that never appear
forgot to mention earlier when the better half rang up the bastards hung up on her
 
just got bored of the crap on tv and found a tape measure.i was right it as got lower on the arse end
i have lost a 1/4" by driving over tarmac for 6 miles
down to 18 1/4 inch from hub centre to top of wheel arch
yesterday it was 18 1/2" quality parts or what
