P38 Key Fob Not Working

I mentioned a while ago that one of my key fobs for my P38 was eating new batteries in a day or so, well as an update, I changed the batteries again over the weekend and nothing - won't work at all.

Is there anyone on here who mends fobs? I would imagine that it's nothing major (for someone who knows what they're doing!) as it was working fine, then the batteries started running out quickly, now nothing. Loose wire, dry joint? It's not been dropped as far as I know.

I have a second key which I've been using for the past few months but the case is broken so won't go on a key ring - not major but the Mrs keeps losing the bloody thing.

You could try a company called Callrova

Give them a try, I believe they refurb key fobs....no affiliation to them just passing on what I have heard

If it's eating batteries maybe a button is stuck down. Always worth checking the obvious first, sometimes saves money.

I was thinking the same. In which case I'd keep it well away from the car until it's sorted.

I've replaced the key pads with a new one off fleabay and all seems fine.

I'll try Callrova.
