Evening All, I just replaced the battery on my key fob for our 2006 L322 3.0 Tdi Vogue, but took a while doing it.
End result battery in, red light shines when attempting to use remote, however it doesn't work!
Is there a 'cunning' easy fix and is the a common issue for numptys like me?
Hope everyone is fine on the zone!

Needs re-syncing, details of how to should be in your owners manual. I think you have to do both FOB's if you have 2.

Thanks for the info Guys, ironically my spare key, which I was told didn't work well from 'mad max' who I brought the car from and has been looked after by my youngest son in case of emergency or if his old duffer of a Dad lost the original, works perfectly!
But I will sync both keys on a nice clear day when I am not in a rush.
Incidentally this is a land rover site and not some health digest, but a quick update on my well being is that I was 'released' from Hospital on the 5th of January and intended spending two weeks of absolute sleep followed by one months total R and R. However 6 days after getting home I got a call from the hospital to tell me that I had TB and that I was infectious! I am now no longer infectious but must take a vast amount of ant-biotics for a further FOUR MONTHS until I am fully free and recovered! **** me, I must have run over a lot of cute little kittens to have racked up so much bad luck.
Bit I am still here and am looking forward to living!
It just goes to show, 2 years and 4 months ago I had never been in a hospital, so enjoy what you got while you got it!
All the best to everyone

TB, once eradicated from the UK, brought back to the UK by immigrants. I had TB as a kid, luckily these days it's curable. Get well soon.

Cheers Pal, theTB dept is a real cloak and dagger place, they are terrified of an outbreak because they are so ill equipped. As you say, once eradicated has now been brought back to the UK by unscreened immigrants. The treatment is grim, but has to be undertaken to prevent the spread!
