The Rangie is now pretty much complete. I came across a photo of when we first got it...looks quite different now and amused me somewhat so thought I would post up a before and after shot :)

It now has...worked head, tubular manifolds, Jacobs "high energy" coil, home-made 8mm ignition leads, waterproofed ECU, coil etc, home made snorkel, spring lift, body lift, dual rear shocks, 265 tyres (show in pic are the road tyres), castor correction arms, hd steering arms, guards, twin battery, winch, removable rear towbar inc NATO style hitch and various other things :). Its a 3.5 V8 EFI

I call this the "Redneck My Ride" makeover :D

does look like a ****ter in comparison but i bet its fit for purpose. my old man said i ruined my classic when offroading it.It was a 650 quid motor!

oh ignore them. that police tape wrapped around the bull bars is tres cool, mon ami and i believe merde green is the colour of the season! :D

I thought it might be good for some amusement to folk on here :)

The paint went like that by itself for some reason - that weird mottled dull effect was not deliberate!

Handbook says "wash with a soft sponge, using warm water and car shampoo"

Actual wash technique = 200bar jet wash and TFR? :D

wooh........

i could forgive you (just) if it didnt have that stupid sayin on it!(one life, dont waste it on a 4x4!)

Thanks :)

The hazard tape was for a bit of a laugh really! And the paintjob just ended up being like that - it just sort of bubbled peeled off (crap respray by the previous owner I think)

Yeah that would do it. Always better to use an isolator if you don't know what's on it.
