He's had it for the past 12 years, and done lots of mods. to it.

It's a well sorted vehicle that's ready to off-road.

Here's his description -

Please don’t think that this is just another rusty old Range Rover that’s been turned into an off roader to be abused until it finally gives up the ghost. I bought this RR back in 2006 in rust free condition with the intention of turning it into an off roader which I would keep and use long term. Yes, it’s been used off road, it has a few scars to prove it, but it’s been very well maintained and is still virtually rust free and completely solid with no structural damage. I’m only selling her on because she’s just not getting much use since the closure of our local pay & play site a few years ago.

I’ll endeavour to be as honest as I can in this listing and give as much detail as I can but please feel free to contact me to arrange a viewing before you bid.

As I have said this RR is virtually rust free. There is no rust in any of the usual places, rear boot floor, rear arches around the door locks etc. and the top tailgate is solid and shuts as it should. There’s not even any sagging in the headlining.

The front axle was refurbished less than 1000 miles ago with new swivels, bearings, CV joints, brake discs and pads. I’ve recently changed the oil & filter and the fuel filter, I’ve also fitted a new fuel pump and replaced the starter battery for one with a 4 year guarantee.I have lots of receipts and old M.O.T.s.

M.O.T. expires 23-11-18

Front and rear rubber mats.

Lashing rails in boot.

Large storage locker in boot.

Additional boot mounted power sockets, one standard “lighter” socket and one din type.

The not so good bits:

There are, as mentioned earlier, a few dents and scrapes as you would expect on a vehicle which has been used off road but nothing too bad (see photos).

The winch has stopped working. It was working fine but when I tested it before putting up this listing it wouldn’t engage. The solenoids still clicks and it will freespool but it won’t winch in or out. It has been unused for a while so it may only need freeing up or it may need a refurb. If I can find the time I’ll look at this before the auction ends.

The connector on one side of the heated rear screen has become detached from the screen so this is now not working.

The near side rear electric window hasn’t worked since I got the car and I’ve never got around to sorting it out.

The central locking doesn’t work on the rear doors but it’s never bothered me as I don’t usually have passengers.
