thats less power than from my early 90's bmw 4.0

I guess they have more emissions crap now lol

Zen , really what is the point of going non original with the engine in this one too?

yep..boss wouldnt give me the week off he had promised..still better this way cos atleast its getting done and not costing me time off work money....and infact only done 2 days full work on her..so kinda on schedual..
 
lol, well if your keeping it at least go p76 v8 so it looks and fits original but has 285 ftlbs as standard.

that looks like one of the 41/2 inch wire brush attachments work, I still have white finger from it lol but they work well where they fit.

Lucky he is letting you keep it in the workshop- is that a concession for no holiday?

A suffix C gearbox then mate? To be expected at that age.

PS when you sent the rear hoop/wiper down put the rest of the overdrive bits in too. Thanks mate.
 
its a suffix a gearbox..number 3980...suffix a upto 5000 odd...though not original one i guess.
