Lol, I have just seen this after your text mate- been a lot going on!

Ok, well no point putting a non original engine in this one mate thats what the other one is for!

you are gonna need a new dashboard too if you are going oem anal.

Bit slacky you are using panels instead of making them :p

Not sure if you added up the hours on mine originally it would equate to more than a week 24/7 as I am sure you remember. most of the time was spent getting the tools, welder air lines car out and dodging the rain and putting it all away again lol.

You say you picked up a filler , you mean the tube? as the cap you have is a series one in the first pic and a warranty replacement flapper in the 2nd (earlier) pic.

Good luck too you and I look forward to more pics and the exchange of abuse :D

When can you do my car haha? If you can squeeze a nice reliable jap v8 + Supercharger in whilst ur at it ill be happy haha! Dads away 2nd week of feb so i can borrow his car if u can squeeze mine in then hahah!

Outta interest, how have you got involved with this project? You restoring it for yourself or something else? Looks proffesional though - shame you dont have abit of warmth for the paint to go off properly but will still do the job. Decided what ur re powering it with ?
