Oil pump bearing

So i've just had a customer come back to me after 5 months saying ive stuffed up his oil pump when i changed his cambelt.
He's apparently takewn it to l;and rovers but wont supply me with a phone number of the garage so i can find out whats happened im fairly sure hes pulling a fast one

Is this even possible in my mind its not even possible as its buried in the sump?

impossible pump runs of cam trough skew gear like earlier 2.5s and 2.25s woludnt matter which way you turned engine when fitting belt ,the only thing that could damage pump is low oil, whoever hes taken it to is an idiot or covering up something ,i know some garages like to rubbish the lasts work but thats a bit far

thanks James thats exactly my thought! It's a certain ex forum member who has been bombarding me with messages and threats about it. Now i can rest easy and get the law involved to get him off my case
