Oil light.

I changed the oil the other week on my 300tdi auto R reg. Once done the oil light flickered once the oil was warm/hot at tick over.

After searching these forums I changed the sensor and the light hasn't flickered since.

Should I be worried ? why did this happen after the oil change ??

Have you put back a different grade of oil, had previous owner put thick oil in due to problems.
Or did switch go faulty at same time as oil change coincidences do happen

mine did this, but after i'd done a high speed run 85+mphis ok once it's cooled a lil.....

now only does it when it gets driven hard....

It's usually a symptom of a sticky oil pressure relief valve, but if you changed the sensor and it's OK I shouldn't worry. If in doubt, I'd change the valve, which is usually a simple job (I haven't done one on that engine). Symptoms are high pressure at revs and low pressure at idle.
