oil leak - 1998 XEDI

Whilst doing a few other jobs on the hippo yesterday, I noticed that I have a small oil leak from the final drive.

Cat tell tell whether this is from the back plate or from the front where the prop goes in

If it is the Prop oil seal, approx how much we talking to fix ?? Haynes says its a specialist job !!!!!

If its the front prop gaiter - its a new prop. Good design, huh?

Im hoping its just the cover plate at back of diff

if its the seal into diff - haynes says it can be done but should be done by specialist

Seal into diff can be fixed... mine was done by main LR dealer and did not cost too much.
