New to the forum but you've all helped me out a lot over the past 2 weeks.
Just got an 05 Freelander Auto HSE in great condition and 69k on the clock. So far I've serviced it, cleaned out the EGR, changed the crankcase breather and hunted down all sorts of rattles and squeaks and most are now fixed.
One that I'm a little stumped on is on starting I get a medium pitch woo, woo noise which usually goes away when I drop into D and roll away. Sometimes it will come on as I'm driving and the engine is warming up and hang around for about 10s and then go away. No aircon on, only heated seats, all windows closed, temps fine, the car is driving great and it ain't the police behind me ;-)
Any help would be appreciated!
