No forward drive , only reverse on 300 tdi automatic

Hi guys,

Was driving my landy today, and pulled over to let someone pass, when bang, lost all forward drive.

I still have reverse, which works fine

Any ideas, apart from a new gearbox?

most likely clutch A if oils black ,can be fixed by removing bell housing from box and pump housing ,first clucth pack you see if clutch B is okay the rest of the box should be ,clutch plates are about £7 each

Try setting of in gear position "1", if it does and then drives ok once rolling in "D" UD2 is broken.
