Sorry this post is not a rant but the opposite. I have had 200 tdi 300 V8 and now i have a D2 TD5. After my V8 ES and two engines later i said thats it......So off i went and got my 1st P38 4.6 HSE, I know out of the frying pan.......2 more P38s later that was it no more Land rovers for me !!!!!!!
Then after the odd BMW, Ford and vauxhall, I was going though my pics on the lap top and there they where pics of my old 300 V8, That was it off to find another one......Her in doors voice ringing in my ears "No not another rot box". "It is nice to have you in doors with no oily arms, And you not coercing the car".
But which one to get??????? Thats the one D2 TD5 2001 Adventurer. Then looking though this site and seeing all the things that could go wrong, I thought do I or.......Done got it, And what a car. When landrover get it right then its just right, And what i nice place to be. Driving along with the climate control on 27c auto, CD player banging out great sounds, Sitting on half leather seats witch are so comfy and every thing working as it should......... I know I know but still its all working at the moment and yes i will be on there again and again with some sort of mown, But for now let me just give prise where prise is due. WELL DONE LR this is how the disco should have been built.
