Hi Folks,

New to the forum, owned a P38 for last 7 years, bit of a love hate relationship really, I love the rangie, it sometimes seems to hate me....!
Always wanted a Range Rover but did not fully appreciate just how much you have to love them to keep them.....
4 engines later  The first engine went diddly donk two weeks after a dealer service, the next two went diddly donk within the following three months.........so I bought a new motor and fitted it myself, 22000 creamy smooth miles later...and now we are onto the usual suspension issues....
I rebuilt the EAS block and pump as a precaution.....now I can't seem to find a damn air leak only affecting rear offside bag.....

When I am not fixing the rangie I make hand made knives full time for my sins, and supply knife making kits and bits and pieces to other enthusiasts.

Anyhow good to be here, looks like a mine of information, looking forward to tapping into it ;)

Cheers

:welcome2: and remember :nopics:

Pretty standard to look at, was a 4.0SE but I fitted a new 4.6 V8 22k miles ago, RPI chips, heads tweaked a little, also removed the air intake box and fitted an air intake I made myself that allowed me to fit a K&N filter.....works a treat, improved mpg too.

Averages 17 > 21 mpg depends if its a motorway haul or traversing the burbs...

Either way she is my motorway armchair....
