Im Matt and along with my other half Kez we own our first Landy ! Finally bit the bullet after ages wanting one and when a good friend offered us a very clean 300tdi 3 door disco we couldnt resist 
Modifying on a budget but so far have fitted the following diy bits :-chequer plate kit , Roof light bar & Spot light bar , Kenlowe fan kit
Future mods include :- wheels / tyres , supsension , and at present am drawing up plans to make my own sump & tank guards as well as some beefy rocksliders from 60 x 120 x 6 box section !!!
