Ello all,

Haven't really shared much about my defender on ere so thaught I might aswell!

(Long boring Saturday eavnings  )

So baught it about a year ago odd. 1993 200tdi defender 90 hardtop.

First rebuilt both axles new everything near enough! (Don't have pictures from then sadly)

New disks, callipers, swivels, LSD rear and normal front diff, 3" lift springs, at the time was +5" shocks allround. Now it's on +15" rear and 5" front, extended lines, corrected arms, wide angle props.

Gave it a full service. New filters, new oils and coolant. Etc etc.

Spruced up the exterior next,
rocksliders,
30mm spacers with normal steels modulars,
south down snorkel & breather kit,
body sliders,
winch bumper & 8274 (till it got nicked),
light bar,
tinted back glass,
chequer plate in the normal places,
side exit full straight through exhuast,
terrifirma 2" reciver hitch,
Steering& diff guards,
Light guards etc etc.

Security was somthing very high up on me list so it's got a few things I budgeted up its sleeve just incase the ba*terds come even though it's an off-roader its also my pride & joy and daily driver so Definetley worth spending the money.

Next changed the gearbox for recon unit, transferbox for a 1.2 ratio and would of been rude not to do the clutch at the same time!!

All going well so far,
Turbo tweeked up to 20psi and pump opened up, changed a few gaskets here and there.

Interior has been re-done if you've looked at me previous thread.

And the point where it's at now,

(Gave up on trying to blur out me numberplate can't stand computers!)
Prob missed a few bits but never mind!
Next things to do, needs a new head, going to save the pennies and go for a turner engineering performance head and go variable geometry turbo and bigger intercooler. Needs a new front diff. Need to give the chassis a coat of underseal and that's about it until somthing else breaks! Those are the plans anyway

Ta :D

Ps anyone good at doing windscreens local??? ;)

By heck there's chucked some time and dollar at the me owd, looks tidy though, bit of a transformation

Haha cheers always been a tight budget being a student! And working long days. Only just got some time back now pheasant season Is over. But have managed it just about!

Good work buddy, looks great!
How's the chassis holding up? My 1994 200tdi chassis has been washed and waxoiled every year and has had plates everywhere but has just about died, wondering if its normal for a truck of this age? Saving to fit a galv after easter though. But not easy being a student also.
Good luck with it..

Thanks fella,
Only thing done to the chassis was a new HD rear Xmember. Rest of it is completely solid. Had abit of surface rust here nd there so ground the entire lot and hamerite-ed it. Only place I found abit of flaking was when I took the front crossmember out to drop the gearbox and so cleaned it up.
