To pull this debate back to Land Rover :p I believe I'm right in saying that you are proud, caring for and rewarded by your P38, just as I am with mine; because we don't take them for granted, and we do put in the necessary work. Therefore so long as the more advanced, superior technology in the new RR is not taken for granted, and is just used, not abused, I believe it will happily serve its customer for many years to come :)

Proud of my P38? don't make me laugh:hysterically_laughi I have A p38 because it was cheaper than any other 4 x 4 to buy and the info is available to fix it when it goes wrong, which it does in some small way or other with monotonous regularity. It's crap:mad:, but I need a 4 x 4 in winter to get out of the valley.
How did the human race get itself into the situation where you are all working your nuts off to buy stuff with stupid names at silly prices that you don't need just so you think you look good:confused:
Me? I looked after my money and packed up work at 55:clap2::mooning:

You just keep polishing your image buying stuff that uses diminishing resources.

Why not a Disco for simplicity then? Or even a Defender?

I like it overall, like many saw the camo'd ones driving around the midlands in the last few months and wondered what was going to appear from underneath. As an owner of an early L322 it makes me happy that they haven't departed too far from the old design as it doesn't automatically make mine look ancient! I like the new front lights, good mix of new design whilst keeping the classic proportions. Interior looks lovely, although I'd swap the wood for piano black or brushed aluminium.

One thing that I don't like though is the door 'vents' - are these even vents? They don't look like they have an opening, and even if they did how would air flow from the engine bay out of the door?! At least the previous models vents actually had a function. If they aren't needed then leave them off, fake vents are pretty naff! The rear looks like it kicks up too high - this will be espcially obvious from any normal heigh car following you.

I saw one 2 weeks ago very early morning on the m5, came up behind me from no where, i had to go up to 110 mph to keep up with it for the wife to get a couple of pics, it was cammoed up in white and grey, as soon as the occupants (2) realised we where taking pics they pulled off, ill see if i can get the pics off her phone

I saw one yesterday. No camo, no stickers. The as should be finished version. The bloke driving and his wife looked very posh

I wasn't sure when I saw pics. But too see it in the flesh. It really is beautiful

We Made it back home data. Set off a day early had a steady bounce home.
Had two new tyres fitted on the front( French law states you have to change both tyres on same axle. But you must know that ) still did the same ,in fact even worse.so we stuck to fifty mph and came home.(I put front prop back on) so gonna book it in at local LR Indy garage. Thanks for your input mate. And you to saint. Let you know the outcome in next couple days.
