New Project Arrives

More soldering, and I'm sure i've been sent SP carling switches instead of DP, as I cant get them to work the windows

Spoke to Mud uk they are Double pole , and at last got the windows operating Happy Day

Started building up the dash. Put the carling switches in ! Took a picture and realised the drivers window switch cover was on upside down, now rectified.

I have sidelights and Indicators ! Dash in, Windscreen wiper motor and drive to spindles works.

Ditto! Got my lights and indicators working today too hazards not so much. Glowplug wiring is crazy ville too

Yes saw your post, you need the timer relay or you will burn out your glowplugs

Dipped/full beam, stop-tail lights, number plate light. Horn, wind screen washer pump little bits but coming on

More electrics, takes ages to check but reversing light works, had to rework carling lights for sidelight operation

Fog light working but it put up a fight ! Turned out to be a faulty supa plug.

Seat belts fitted, head and cab trim fitted

Stripped the Fuel injection pump today to find out why the bad running, Not good news inside was the Land Rover curse and this bits GERMAN .
Anyway bin Quoted min £450 for a rebuild, so I have sorted a good one from a Disco that's a runner.

Ouch... that's nasty... its looking fabulous!

Shake down tests today, Loud grumble from the rear ! Only downpipe fitted no floor panel so quite noisy After a lot of searching we thought it was either the transfer box or rear diff.
Quick diff change and noise gone. Engine is great with plenty of power, very pleased with progress

Sounds lovely

Had issues with the Ignition barrel, but now starts off the key first turn. Fitted new door locks and refitted door cards.
