Hi Im suspecting injector issues and as far as I know its the smae ones since new at 167000 miles so time to change. Anyway , just wanted advice on whether its better to change whole injector or just the nozzels as obviously a big price difference. Is this easy to swaop the nozzels or a pain.

Having had a bit of a lesson in injector testing tonight from my mate who is a hgv mechanic. Take them to a specialist and have them tested and cleaned or refurbed as required, you may not need new tips just cleaning or refacing, the pop pressure is important and can only be checked on a proper tester.

It is easy to rebuild them, but you have no idea how well it has worked without a test machine. Just take them to an injection place and get them tested and fixed if needed. They will require rebuild at that mileage. supposed to be checked every 40-50k miles.

300tdi injector nozzles are 2 stage and most pop testers can only test the first stage and the second stage is the most critical. Best if you take them to somewhere that is familiar with that type of injector.
