Hi,
Yes thats correct I dont own a landie yet but am looking at buying my dads freelander soft top shortie, its on a 98 reg.

Does anyone know what to look for that is likely to go wrong?
He has done the front Prop and is doing the rear before I get it.

Is it worth a grand?

My first post and I am already asking for advice, lol.

Hope someone gets back to me soon.

Cheers Andy.

Just a friendly suggestion - maybe have a look at the freelander thread for all the pitfalls. As for is it worth a grand? I don't know - you don't tell us much mate! Mileage, engine, etc etc... ;)
