HI,
I'm the new owner of and Aug 03 TD5 GS with bogo 16's. I'm going to keep them for when I'm off road or towing my horsebox to events etc but i'm intersted in some bigger rims. I have seen Range Rover stormer style 20's from wheel-base.co.uk and wondered if anyone has slapped on some big rims and if so any problems and pictures?
Alternativiley (sorry can't spell) i am looking at a set of rims from a range rover. What year fits and also do i need to modifiy them- spacers / wheel nuts etc. And finaly, are Commet Style newer than Hurricane style?

Cheers!!

JJ

Range Rover 'Triple Sport' 18" wheels + 255/55R18 tyres
Set of 5 genuine Range Rover 'Triple Sport' 18 inch alloys with Goodyear Wrangler HP 255/55R18 tyres from a P38 4.6 HSE model. All wheels are in exceptional condition as you can see from pics. Tyres have plenty of tread left, although one has less tread in the middle of the tyre due to being run slightly over inflated - ideal to be used as spare. Another has slight wear on the inside edge.

we had a p38 that had 18s on it for years, it was ok but it was a lot more tramliney than with the small wheels.

shouldnt cause you a major prob thought cos enough people do it.

p38 wheels are the easiest, but i think you can fit new range rover/sport wheels if you get the right wheel nuts.

cheers
