Hi All, Just a few days ago I posted a comment that my beloved P38 had been working beautifully for nearly 2 years without a problem... It couldn't last, and it didn't!
Yesterday saw the failure of the brake pump / accumilator
- while heading downhill towards a roundabout... Not the best time to have no brakes. Fortunately, there was very little traffic and I had enough time to engine brake to some extent. Then there was a very long trip home in the back of a recovery truck. What a treat! On the plus side, at least I saved 1/3 tank of fuel!
Does anyone have a working brake pump for a P38? And never tempt fate! :doh:
