Need wheels urgently!!

Has anyone got any 16" Steel wheels they want to give away/sell cheap to me (in the oxfordshire/northampton area)...? I need some by saturday and im a VERY poor agricultural enginner apprentice! (they can be with or without tyres on. Cheers!!

No, its my first off road day out, and I got 2 new wrangler mud terrains and 2 new wrangler all terains, now need some wheels to fit them on, the tyres/wheels i have on It usually I need to keep.

go on fleabay theres loads,dont be so tight and buy some:5bnopity:

What wheels and tyres are you currently running? Are you going to a pay and play or laning?

Disco 1 Steel wheels, with 235/85 R16 General Grabber AW (tried mud with them and got stuck! BIG TIME!!)

so you're not after steels to stop yerself damaging expensive alloys then.

Why not look at whats available on ebay. Alloys are often as cheap as steels on there. Get whatever is cheapest and if you end up with alloys then stick yer road tyres on them and the A/T's on the steels you already have.

No got drums on back so cant. Really would like a set of Boost alloys though! lol

don't know what he'll charge, but i know theres a set of disco freestyle alloys there.(5)

Think I may of found some closer to home...dont think they would fit as I have rear drums?

I seem to remember summit about freestyle alloys fitting on deependers wiv rear drums. Hopefully someone here can confirm this.

I've had some disco alloys on me 110 with drum brakes on't back. You just have to bin the little plastic bit out of the middle. Only had em on there temporary but they didn't fall off or cause any deaths or anything.

I fitted Rangerover 3 spoke on my 90 with drums on the rear. The Drums arn't the problem its the fronts that cause the problems the hub sticks out the thickness of the drum face too much about 6 or 8 mm and the bolt heads of the drive flange stop the wheel being bolted against the hub face correctly. Range rovers used domed drive flange/shaft to get around this. The other way around it was to get hold of some old drums and get them machined down to make a spacer and fit longer studs. It works but not advisd and defo not a good way of doing it.

To make things even more interesting there is more than one type of rangie three spoke with slightly different castings with different casing numbers and the result is a difference in space to house the drive member bolts some were within 4mm or 5mm and others more like 2mm.
