He's not selling them, he's drawing awareness to them before a post gets lost in the middle of Defender bits in the for sale area, that very few Freelander people look at...

Which is why I posted my "Considering Selling Up" thread in both areas, so that people actually see it, so as for why its been deleted I don't know!

I ain't selling anything. Saw it and thought freelander size, so put it in the freelander section, for the freelander gang.

Which is why I posted the same thread in both areas, so that people actually see it, so as for why its been deleted I don't know!

It's been deleted because it's a Land Rover and belongs in the Land Rovers for Sale section.

If people want to buy something they will look in the For Sale section unless people start posting things for sale wherever they feel like it.

Those tyres would be equally useful in the Series section, Defender section and for all I know the Disco section as well.

Should it be posted in them all as well to raise awareness? Or perhaps the P&A For Sales where anyone looking for tyres will see them?

Its not even a proper "for sale" post, since the first word of the title is "considering"....I might not even sell it, its posted in both places so that people actually see it before it gets lost in 7 seconds flat

Its open for discussion, as I might not even sell it yet, heck I haven't even decided that i'm going to sell it, I might have changed my mind by the morning, not everyone reads the for sale areas anyway, as I've found when trying to sell odds and sods in the past

Problem is the technical sections is the only bit that most people who is interested in Freelanders read, its no good bumping a for sale thread if there's nobody reading it in the first place!

Case in point, 4 times the number of views on this bit as the for sale section in less than an hour

I don't want special treatment, I contribute financially to the site like many others, I just want people to see my topic and draw some interest briefly so that forum folk see it so maybe I don't have to resort to the many idiots on eBay and/or dealer Part Ex prices

Personally I would like a freelander for sale sub forum in the freelander section.....

I am on here several times a day in the fl section but I have to make a special effort to go to the for sale usually only on e every few days...

Because I can't be bothered to look in the for sale section is hardly a valid reason for posting ads in the technical sections
