Hope someone can help me out with my questions.I just recently bought a 1994 4.6 hse automatic range rover.firstly i have noticed the the water/coolant is going real quick,i have topped it up twice in 2 weeks although there is no sign of mayo in the oil etc no overheating problem as i read that this loss could be something to do with the head gasket but i dont see any of the signs,is there anything else i can look for or what could be causing this? There is also an alarm fault displayed and a beeping when i insert the key into the ignition,Is there any easy fix for this or what to check for? Also the srs fault light is on what can i look for with regards to this and is it an easy fix?Lastly i have noticed the tubing that supplies the water to the windscreen washers is broken and some tubing missing, can i sort this myself or what would i be looking at in cost to sort?Sorry for all the questions but hope you can give the advice.
Thanks

on the coolant, if you can eliminate the head gasket and block then the only other option is a leak on the water system, check the obvious, water under car, steam/hot water leaking at any joints. is it lpg?? sometimes the t's they use to tee into the heater circuit are far smaller than the pipes used and(as it is on mine) can leak under pressure and also split, on mine they weep a little when the system is hot and has a bit of pressure in it. its a problem with the jubilee clips not forming a perfect seal.

check also for water in the foot wells as this is common for the 'o' rings to go on the heater matrix, think they on the drivers side. also a dodgy seal on the header/expansion tank will cause water loss, as in if you open it whilst the engine is hot. there is a fair bit of pressure in the system when hot and running so you will not notice it whilst the car is cold!!

also look for traces of water residue, probably whiteish scale, kind like limescale a bit. and always top up with antifreeze mixture!!

srs/airbag fault, i have this issue but have not found the cause/fix yet

windscreen washer: i have used pipe from a fish shop/aquarium shop but not on a rangie yet!!!

the alarm fault is probably the volumetric sensor, the bit above the panger's head. way to test is to get in car, press the lock button on the key fob twice and after a few seconds start moving about. if the alsrm doesnt sound the it needs replacing. one of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/B-RANGE-ROVER-P38-ALARM-SENSOR-TRIED-AND-TESTED_W0QQitemZ120335715564QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item120335715564&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318

they are colour coded and are around £100 new from LR i think
