Have had my 2002 Freelander TD4 'S' since last August. Three different rear seat passengers have complained about being queasy after an hour in the back on motorways and A roads. Obviously any 4x4 is likely to have more pitch and roll than a normal saloon car due to the height and suspension softness and length of travel. My other car which I have had for 5 years now is a Peugeot 406 estate 2.2 HDI which of course is very low slung, long and low and nearly as wide as the Freelander and corners like it's on rails and the same pasengers on the same journeys were fine. Fortunately the family are all grown up now and we don't have back seat passengers so often. However - first grandkid is due next August and I don't want kids chucking up in the back in years to come. Would some aftermarket suspension assisters help ? Beginning to think that a Subaru Forester might have been a better choice to pull the caravan.
Any thoughts ?

youll find if you do a search that not only do freelanders make people sick, they also make babies cry, cause aids and can be generally held accountable for all the wrongs of the world. also they have proven links to al keada and anal rape.
hope that helps :)

Do you get a shock from the vehicle when you step out, especially during the summer months?

There are a lot of people who suffer from travel sickness due to a build up of static electricity. This is why you often see small chains (or conductive strips) dangling from the rear of the vehicle, when they make contact with the road surface they help to discharge the static.

Might be worth a try fitting some.
