haha they are adjustable, drop it down on the road then raise it up when the going gets rough, much easier to get a sheep in the back when you can drop the back down, good for picking up a trailers too

kinda cool i think! very ..er original but i can see the benefits! i seen some guy sellin something similar on ebay a few days ago, have to admit i was intrigued. does it improve handling at speed? i imagine so..

Its going to take a long time to move a flock of sheep one at a time - tried a dog?:5bparty:

See what you mean about a trialer, but a hydrolic lifting hitch my be cheeper?

the dog sits up front!
i'll have a look at the make as i'm not sure off the top of my head and get some pics of it raised up when i'm back from me hols. reckon it raises up about 300 - 400 mm each corner at full lift.
Handling is much better when it's dropped, you can't really drive it when it's as low as in the pic as it's sat on the stops and is too bumpy. My boss can't keep up in his chipped Td5 but i'm sure thats a mixture of the 200tdi and lowered ride :)

Cant keep up where? Off road, on the flat, in the mud?
A stock TD5 will walk all over a 200tdi let alone a properly chipped and tuned one. Either his setup is wrong or he's not a very good driver.
The TD5 has way more torque and power than any of the tdi engines.

i don't know why, handling around corners? you can enter and exit the corner faster?
I've only driven two Td5's one "chipped" and one not, neither seemed like it would "walk over" my 200tdi and one certainly doesn't. I also find that if I have a heavy trailer on the back the 200 pulls better than the Td5
